Overcoming the Hustle Mentality

What if I told you that your worth isn’t in your job or marital status? What if I told you that you, as you are, right now, is enough. Would you believe me?

That no amount of striving, or posturing is going to make you any more loveable, valuable and worthy of respect. You are already all of those things.

Today, I’m joined by a woman I’ve gotten to know through a class I facilitate through Encounter Ministries. Jill Simons is an articulate and vibrant mother of four, who is the Founder and Creative Director of an online and brick and mortar store called Pink Salt Riot in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

As an entrepreneur who has built a successful business, she knows firsthand the temptation to “hustle for your worth”, even with God.
