My 5 Things
I am embarrassed to admit that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. As much as I love Christmas for the eternal and life-bringing significance, I enjoy the low-pressure simplicity of Thanksgiving (especially if you’re not the one hosting).
I mostly love the good food and the time to spend with family and friends and to share what we are most grateful for.
In honor of this special day, I wanted to share 5 things I am most grateful for in relation to my business.
First and foremost, I am thankful for you, for reading, listening and sharing your stories and lives with me over the years. It is a true honor to assist you along your career journey and to have been a sounding board when you needed guidance. I am most especially grateful for all those I have been able to help discern their charisms this past year. Seeing someone come alive as they discover the unique ways God has gifted them is an absolute joy!
I am thankful for the wonderful people I have interviewed on my podcast this year. It is one of the highlights of my week when I get to sit across from someone and hear their story.
I am so thankful for being able to write for the Catholic Women in Business (CWIB) website. Sharing professional development tips and reflections on the faith truly makes me come alive. (If you are still looking for a gift idea for a professional woman in your life, check out CWIB’s new book “Holy Ambition”. I am honored to have been able to share my story in the book.)
In order to grow in my abilities as a career coach, this year I began a three-year spiritual direction training through the Cenacle of our Lady of Divine Providence. I am grateful for all that I am learning, most especially the art of compassionate listening and truly guiding those in our care to the Father.
Last but not least, I am eternally grateful to my husband and son, who are the joy and inspiration of my days. They keep me humble, always laughing, and fill my heart to overflowing. Thanks, Phil, for making all this possible.
These are my “5 things” that I am grateful for regarding my business.
What are your 5 things for a specific area of your life? I would love to hear it. Please send me a message at valentina@fiatcareercoaching.com.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
With love,
Valentina
