From Judaism to Christianity

Debbie Herbeck was born Jewish. She grew up in a Jewish family, had Jewish friends, and thought everyone was Jewish. She had never read the Bible and didn’t know anything about Jesus.

In college, she had a life-changing encounter with Jesus and came to know Him as the Messiah. Debbie’s journey from Judaism to Christianity is an incredible story of our God pursues us even when we are not aware, and how He meets us in the midst of our struggles.

From deep family tragedy to redemption at the end of life, Debbie is acutely aware of what it is like to suffer the cost of becoming Christian. However, through it all God has proven His faithfulness to her and her family and enriched them in the process.
